  5. Hi Dean....thanks for visiting my photo blog and I'll add your link to my text blog, where all the others are.
    I was in Brighton back in 1985 on my way to Dover to catch the Hovercraft over to Calais. I remember these beach/water photos very well. So I'll be back to visit here often.

  6. Is it to be rebuilt as it was? A small Victorian style pier was burnt in St Kilda and is now almost restored - same Victorian look but with 21st century businesss orientation.

  7. Hi Michael - they had planned to completely renovate it back to it's original glory. That was up until the 1st fire.....after that they thought they still had a chance of saving it - that was up until the 2nd fire - they've given up now I think....
