The reason I like this shot is that the seagull just stayed around long enough on the letter "T" to really show this as a seaside town. This cropped photo was snatched during a lunch hour on a really cold but sunny day.

    Nebel - the sign is above Brighton pier and can be seen earlier last month in my blog.

    Meo - I could use this in my Blog - but I'd like to get a uniform logo for all DP'ers
    Eric - the pier was opened in 1899 however the current owners changed the name in 2000 from Palace Pier to Brighton Pier - so I'm guessing the sign is quite new!
