Starlings over the west pier. Every night without fail, thousands upon thousands of Starlings nest on the west pier. They swoop and dive in unison - like a shoal of fish and it's an incredible sight to see, and an incredibly difficult thing to photograph!

  3. Yeah, you did a great job. Birds are indeed hard to photograph - they fly faster than I can take out my camera and focus... :). Is the pier abandoned or just like this during the winter months?
