The FA Cup, probably the the most exciting event in the footballing calendar - and what a match! Watched by over 11m people sadly it wasn't West Ham's day in the sun although they should be proud. Liverpool FC won the match on penalties.....
My team, Birmingham City FC, however were relegated this season and as a season ticket holder I'll have to endure lower league football next season :(

Taken last weekend at the children's parade this colourful photo has a bit of movement which was by default rather than design - but the little girl on the left looks like she is having a ball :)

Today marks the start of the Brighton Festival and to kick it all off the Children's Parade was a huge success this morning - there were over 108 different schools and floats participating ( I think the theme was food & drink). I've posted other pics over at brighton daily photo extra. Shame about the weather but the kids didn't seem to mind they had a ball. My own son will be participating next year and I can't wait!!!!!!!

Another shop in the North Laines is this musical equipment vendor. It's a busy shop in Brighton as everyone either wants to be a DJ or be in a band - everyone's a wannabe!!!
