Could not make a choice!

I had taken two shots today that I simply could not decide between the two as to which would become the Brighton Daily Photo.

The first is some Spring Daffs, the second is a couple of boats out on the Shoreham tidal river.

Therefore - I'd like your feedback - which shot should I have decided upon?

Just click on comments below....and leave your opinion.

PS THE DAFFS ARE FOR SARAH, FOR BEING THE BEST MUM IN THE WORLD!

  1. Both great as ever but the daffs one is the most striking. Added schmaltz value is that it's Mother's Day so it's pretty topical!

The daffs could be anywhere and everywhere just now -- which is not to sat there's owt wrong with such a picture, heck I posted some last week!

  4. To me, no question. The boats.

They carry the sense of place unique to your blog which is one of the things I enjoy about it.

  8. Since you posted both, I refuse to choose--I like both for very different reasons. The daffodils are gloriously yellow and lovely; the photo of the boats introduces an entirely different environment. good job!!

  9. I can't choose either. I like the colour of the daffodils, and the composition of the boat picture. The daffodils instantly made me feel happy, and the boats made me feel a sense of place. So there you have it - no help at all. :)

  10. Thanks Team!

I'll just leave both posted as opinion seems divided.

My favourite though is the Daffs - but the boats (a fluke shot) have something that i can't quite put my finger on.
