Checkpoint Charlie, Berlin


This pic breaks a few rules - the 1st is that I don't usually go in front of the camera! the 2nd is that this isn't Brighton!

I was in Berlin on a business trip for the day - here's checkpoint charlie in Berlin.

  1. I remember being fascinated by fist-sized pieces of glass embedded in the sidewalks somewhere in Brighton about 30 years ago. Is there a walkway below-ground in the city? Could this glass be in the ceiling of the walkway, providing natural light?

    If you can find this, can you post a photo?
