The sun shone, the whistles whistled, the drums drummed and every last small persons face was covered with a grin from ear to ear -what a great day for kids and parents alike - I love this carnival - it's so joyous.

I'm guessing that with the colour of the t-shirts it may have been a caribbean (Jamaican) festival. Or am I totally off the mark?
ReplyDeleteEveryone seems to have had a parade on Saturday. Well, not everyone, but we did and we don't have parades very often. The photo of your parade says it all. Nice.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get to see the Rose-Breasted Grosbeak that came to Brookville, Ohio yesterday. It is the first one I have seen since we moved here 44 years ago.
