Cockles, Whelks, Mussels, Prawns and Jellied Eels

A common sight at most seaside resorts is the seafood stall - this one is "Sea Haze".

This review taken from the Guardian website:

Sea Haze: 207 Kings Road Arches, Brighton, East Sussex, 01273 777007. This family-run shop has been running for 15 years and comprises ex-fisherman owners who really know their stuff. Produce is sourced off local day boats and includes shellfish such as crabs, whelks and mussels. The shop also runs the Brighton fishing museum located next door, which has been kitted out to represent a photo of the original shop taken in the 1920s.

  1. Typical Britsh seaside scene. Love the use of b&w. Classic a retro at the same time.

  2. Are they the ones who make their own sauces? I cannot not go past without getting some crayfish ;-)
