Brighton Rooftops

This is the new view from where I'm sat a work, impressive huh?

I only wish you could convey "smell" in a photograph, because today you can really smell the sea - and it smells great!

Bandstand Restoration

I've been meaning to get a snap of our newly restored bandstand for some time. Apols for the .lag! But here it is in all its glory. Beautifully and lovingly restored.

The number of times I've passed it there's always someone making use of it. When I took this photo there were some breakdancers enjoying the spotlight.

I think it just looks great and I think the residents of Brighton appreciate it and are looking after it!

Hove station

Not too interesting a shot today - Hove station. What can be seen in the background though is the defunct Dubarry Perfumery Company....here's an account of someone that used to work there years ago!

Air and Sea Rescue

There seemed to be something afoot off the Brighton coast this morning. The HM Coast Guard air and sea rescue helicopter was out as was the lifeboat. "Blues and two's" on the seafront road as well, difficult to tell what's going on from the shoreline - can only hope everyone's OK.

Brighton Photo Fringe

Is exhibiting in the building where I work - Moore House in brighton. The Brighton Photo Fringe have enrolled us (iCrossing) to help them judge some of the exhibits. Well worth a look.

Signed England Shirt - John Terry #6

I had an interesting assignment yesterday evening. My wife works for Chestnut Tree House Hospice and they are holding a Christmas Ball. One of the auction prizes is an England Shirt signed by John Terry - I got to photograph the prize for the brochure. Why not support the ball by going along?
