So gloomy

It's just not worth venturing outside at the moment, If I didn't know better I'd volunteer to go rounding up animals two-by-two - it hasn't stopped raining for what seems like WEEKS!

So instead - I was mucking around in photoshop over the weekend - I thought I'd post a pic of my wonderful daughter looking at fairies.

Just to bring a smile during these gloomy days.

Eddie Izzard - in town

Lighting up the night sky, like the old searchlights - means Eddie Izzard is in town performing at the Brighton Centre. You can follow Eddie on Twitter and apparently there are spare tickets for tomorrow and Monday.

Not that I'm a weather freak - but it has been ker-a-zee this past week donw here on the south coast. Here's rainbow to brighten your day.

Brighton marathon April 2010

I'm labouring under the misaprehension that I may actually be able to complete the inaugural Brighton Marathon in April of next year. But unless I drag my sorry bones out for a run more often than I currently am then it will be a significant FAIL.

One of my (poor) methods for self motivation has been to stick a copy of the route the hard shell of my laptop. Hopefully an attempt to shame me into more frequent pre-marathon practise.

The most spurring however is the fact that so many kind people have already donated their hard earned money to a very deserving charity on my behalf. Click here to donate.

The Specials - Live in Brighton Tonight

A band that's an icon of its time plays tonight at the Brighton Centre. The Specials (Special AKA) reformed back in 2008 and announced it's 30th anniversary tour in 2009.

Sadly I can't go, so if you're there this evening, I hope you have a great time and would you mind popping back to post a quick review on this site.

This band is "special" to me - not just because of my Midlands roots but also - this was my era!
