Half marathon - grim day
Yesterdays half marathon was run in grim conditions - it was hard and my legs are sore today.

Stunning new day!
After the dreary dark mornings - it's just a simply stunning new crisp clear day here on the south coast.
Let's hope it's like this for the half marathon this coming sunday!
Which reminds me - it's time to pass around the hat again for this April Marathon run where I'm running for Chestnut Tree house

Snow to return?
This shot taken of the south entrance into the lanes was of a rare piece of blue sky - looks like we're in for a bit more snow this week - just when we thought it had all gone away!

West pier clean up starts
A sorry sight on our seafront is the wreckage of our West Pier. Ravaged by storms, neglect and two fires the clean up operation finally started this week.
With diggers and heavy machinery shifting the remaning wreckage away from the beach.
Pics courtesy of Simon Handby with his Flicker feed to be found here.
Thanks for the loan of the pic Simon.

A camera on the floor type shot as used so effectively by Eric over at Paris Daily.
This is the entrance the Duke's Lane with Fred Perry on your left.
