Tightrope walker, Brighton Beach

Sooooooo sorry I haven't posted in ages!

But here's a nice shot taken this evening near the west pier, a chap practising his tightrope technique. He didn't mind me taking his shot and seemed quite exasperated with himself as he balanced, then fell, then got right back up again.

I opted for the silhouette as I was heading down for the sunset. Some pics of the West Pier at Sunset to follow tomorrow.

  8. Great shot Dean. I'd love to do a painting from it - would you mind? Some of my work can be found at www.debbieholt.co.uk. There's one painting on the site from a photograph of a group of boys in the same spot as your photo.

  9. Hi Debbie, I'd be honoured and flattered!

Please be my guest. Do you need the original image?

    Good Luck with it.

  10. I'm so pleased you said yes. I can work from the image here so don't need the original. The silhouette is superb and 'm looking forward to getting started on the painting. It will probably be a few weeks away though as I have a few commissions in-hand at the minute. I will let you know when it's done and make sure that you get to see it (if you would like to).
    Many Thanks, Debbie.
