Carling Cup Final 2011

Completely unrelated to Brighton - but related to me - my team Birmingham City is in the Carling Cup Final this weekend, and I'm lucky enough to have tickets to see them play at Wembley.

Their opponents, Arsenal, are a ridiculously talented side and we're the real outsiders - but for me it's about the occasion and my teams first major final at Wembley in 55 yrs!

Come on you Blues!

Theatre Royal Brighton

This is our lovely Theatre Royal in Brighton opened in the early 1800's commissioned by the Prince Regent (it's really close to his house - the Pavillion).

I'd recommend a visit if you're in town, and even if you can't catch a show - dip in for a swift half at the bar underneath - it's where ALL the stars hang out

This was the shot I went down to the seafront to snap yesterday - but got slightly distracted by the tight rope walker!

Still holding its majesty the West Pier still does it for me, and many others it seems as I wasn't alone grabbing this shot.
